Who knew there would come a time when I would search the house desperately looking for laundry to do?? I mean the stuff usually multiplies like Rabbits around here and when I want to do laundry…..Nada! But I’m almost finished with my laundry room makeover, well close enough that I can’t wait to share!
I still want to find a rug, I’m looking for the right artwork, I need to rewire my Chandelier and I have a couple of paint touch ups. Ok so all the doors need to be painted, but I just couldn’t wait…so ignore those things.
Laundry Room Reveal
TADA! I’m so excited to use this room! I have a sorting wall and a hanging system. Plus some of the things I love are in here and functioning with organizational flair!
I love having my supplies within easy reach and since I’ve been putting things in glass jars and bottles for mega years it’s time to show them off.
2 Apple baskets are on duty to take my clothes to the lines outside or to the racks. And that explains the hat!
A set of 1950’s picnic baskets are great storage, not to mention the Silverware chests that contain my essential oils and soap bars.
There are the herbs I use in my dryer bags and my soap nuts for making laundry soap. The urn in the corner holds my bags and tennis balls when not in use. See the rectangle mirrors?? They came off of an old chandelier.
And did you seriously think I would makeover a room without Silver Trays being placed somewhere?
I can’t wait to do the laundry now. I know it won’t last long, but at least for a couple of weeks I’ll be changing clothes a couple of times of day.
That’s it. My tiny Laundry now has some big Faded Bluebird Style going on. The best part??? The entire makeover cost me $60. I used things I had, I scoured the thrift stores, I reused paint and trim. Oh yeah, that door next to my sorting wall….that’s my cleaning closet. Just in case you’re nosey like I am, here’s a peek.
